I will copy below my results from the following commands if that will help: lsusb, dmesg (after running dmesg -C and reconnecting my franken keyboard) and uname -a. The keyboard does work, and from what I can tell the RPI at least sees the track pad. They both go over the same USB connection.Īnyway, this works great! I can connect it to my current mac (sierra) laptop, my windows 10 (and 7) desktop, and a linux computer running elementary OS, and I have a pretty cool trackpad and keyboard combo! My problem is, when connect it to the raspberry pi the trackpad is not functioning. ( ) Mine is both the Keyboard and the trackpad. Here is a link to a walkthrough of what I did. So, I have a keyboard and trackpad from an early 2008 Mac book pro that I have modified into a USB external device. I have a kind of unique problem and I haven't found much that has helped me so far looking on here an in some linux forums.
